How often should carpets be cleaned in a home with pets?

H-Town Chem-Dry recommends professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months for most carpets. Homes with pets or children, or with someone who has asthma or allergies, benefit from cleaning more often.

Can you remove tough stains like wine or pet accidents?

Carbonation lifts set-in stains and traffic patterns. Wine, lipstick, permanent marker and grass are common examples. Pet urine stains get our P.U.R.T.® treatment, which works below the carpet surface.

Will my carpet get dirty again quickly after cleaning?

No. Many cleaners use soaps and detergents that leave a sticky residue, and that residue pulls dirt back into the fibers. The Natural® contains no soaps or detergents, so nothing is left behind for dirt to cling to.

Is Chem-Dry a steam cleaner?

No. We use carbonation to lift dirt from the carpet, so we do not need the gallons of water a steam cleaner uses.

Do you offer stain protectant?

Chem-Dry Protectant can be applied after cleaning. It forms a barrier around the fibers that gives you time to blot a spill before it soaks in.

They cleaned our king-size upholstered bed and four barstools, and everything came out beautifully. The upholstery looks fresh, clean, and noticeably brighter. They were thorough, respectful of our home, and made the entire process easy from start to finish.
