Yes. Hot Carbonating Extraction works on cotton, wool, linen, microfiber, polyester, nylon and silk. Leather has its own cleaning and restoration process.

How long does upholstery take to dry?

Upholstery typically takes about 4 to 6 hours to dry. However, the drying time can vary depending on the fabric, humidity, airflow, and the level of soiling. Heavily soiled pieces or certain fabrics may take overnight to dry.

Can you remove pet odors from couches and chairs?

Yes. We apply P.U.R.T.® to upholstery, where it penetrates the fibers and destroys the material that causes the odor.

How often should furniture be professionally cleaned?

Chem-Dry recommends every 24 to 48 months. Homes with children, pets or allergy sufferers should clean more often, and a piece with a visible stain or an odor should be cleaned right away.

Why have upholstery professionally cleaned at all?

In homes with carpet, up to 80% of the dust and dirt that comes indoors can end up in furniture and upholstered fabric. Household cleaners do not reach it.

They cleaned our king-size upholstered bed and four barstools, and everything came out beautifully. The upholstery looks fresh, clean, and noticeably brighter. They were thorough, respectful of our home, and made the entire process easy from start to finish.
